Roarling is an early-learning app operated by Devote Good LLC. It is designed for children, with setup and account controls managed by a parent or guardian.

What Roarling keeps

Speaking practice is optional

Speaking practice is off by default and requires a parent to enable it and approve microphone access. Supported devices process speech locally. Roarling does not save or upload voice recordings or transcripts. Temporary recognition results are used for the current activity and discarded. Device providers may download speech models during setup. If local recognition is unavailable, tap activities remain available.

A parent can turn speaking practice off in the grown-ups area or revoke microphone permission in device settings. Speech recognition confidence is not a pronunciation grade, and voice results do not advance the learning schedule.

Why data is used and who processes it

We use profile and progress information to provide the app, save work, restore linked profiles and answer parent support requests. Google Firebase and Google Cloud provide authentication, storage and the API. Cloudflare hosts this website and delivers the public pictures and audio used in activities. Apple or Google handles optional parent sign-in. These services may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.

Roarling has no advertising SDK, advertising identifiers or third-party behavioural analytics. We do not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or make child profiles public. This website has no analytics scripts, advertising or tracking cookies.

Storage and deletion

Profile and progress information stays in the account until a parent removes a profile or deletes the account. The app also caches profiles, progress and downloaded activities on the device so returning learners can play offline. Device backups may retain information according to the parent's device settings; speaking-consent files are excluded from backup. When a parent starts account deletion, the device saves a small recovery receipt outside device backups. It can only check whether deletion finished after an interrupted connection, and is removed after the device confirms deletion and clears its local account data.

Deleting a profile removes that profile and its progress from our active database. Deleting an account removes all of its profiles, learning records and sign-in identity. A temporary deletion marker prevents old requests from recreating the account; it contains no profile content and becomes eligible for automatic removal after 24 hours. Routine infrastructure logs follow the hosting providers' configured retention and may persist after account deletion.

Parent choices and requests

Parents can review or edit profiles, remove profiles, turn off speaking practice and request account deletion. See the account-deletion instructions. To ask about access, correction or deletion when you cannot use the app, email . We may need to verify account ownership before disclosing or deleting data. Do not email a child's voice recording, full name or date of birth.

If you believe information was collected outside the parent-managed flow described here, contact us so we can investigate and remove it when appropriate. We will update this page when the app's data practices change.
